The LCCIE Diploma in Teaching English for Business (Dip TEB) is a combination of Language knowledge, Teaching knowledge and Business knowledge.

This Diploma course offers a comprehensive coverage of important and essential aspects and practices of the world of business. The course also pays detailed attention to the language of business and how to teach Business English using effective methodologies.

Course Aims

This course is aimed at candidates who:

- Already work at the appropriate level and wish to obtain a formal qualification
- Wish to obtain a formal qualification which will enable them to work at higher levels
- Are in training and wish to obtain a formal qualification which will enable to work at appropriate levels.

How the course works

Students are assigned an online tutor who will be there at all times to support and guide you throughout the course. Communication between students and online tutors is mainly via e-mail although telephone tutorials can also be arranged. Once the registration process is complete the students can download the course materials into their computers and start work.

One of the advantages of taking an online TEFL course such as this is its flexibility: you can work at your own pace and have no deadlines for submitting your work.

As you advance through the course units you will be receiving valuable feedback from your online tutor. It is not necessary to be online to work on the course. When you are ready to send in your materials all you need to do is attach your work to an e-mail.

The course can be taken as one whole Diploma or alternatively the individual certificate courses it consists of can be taken individually.

Entry Requirements

This qualification is intended as a supplementary qualification for qualified teachers of general English, providing them with an introduction to Teaching Business English (TBE).

Candidates must be either:

a) graduate native speakers with a language teaching qualification or basic English as a Foreign Language (EFL) qualification

b) non-native speaker English teachers with a first degree plus a formal English teaching qualification. For both groups a experience of general English teaching to adults is required, as well as a limited amount of business English teaching experience.

Grading system

Your progress will be continually evaluated. There are no exams. As you continue to improve in your teaching abilities your grade will continue to evolve to reflect your professional growth. Final grades are based on where you are at the end of your training and are given as either A+, A, B+, B or C.

Qualifications

At the completion of the course successful students are awarded the LCCIE DIPLOMA in Teaching English for Business.

Additionally Anglo Centres TEFL issues certificates for each individual course taken along with a letter of reference.
